Our Events Committee plans team gatherings and special events throughout the year. One highlight is our annual employee anniversary celebration to honor service milestones with a catered lunch and awards program in May. We also have fun staff gatherings like potlucks, picnics and cook outs as appreciation for our team’s hard work and dedication.
Our first annual Kick-Off to Summer party at the Surf was a blast, with fun for the whole family including boat rides on Lady of the Lake, bouncy houses, face painting, music, food and drinks! In addition, we have Hawks vs. Cyclones Team Spirit Day, Halloween Costume Contests and Employee Appreciation Day. Our team delivers harvest lunches to area farmers in the Fall when they are putting in long days in the fields. We participate in R.E.D. (Remembering Everyone Deployed) by wearing red on Fridays in November to honor our soldiers, and on Superhero Day we honor our first responders. And did we mention parades? We’re in over a dozen of them in the summer, driving, decorating floats and being a part of celebrating the traditions of North Iowa communities!
